KVK, Golaghat, in the year 2021-22, organized and conducted all together 66 numbers of training programmes along with 6 nos. of sponsored training programmes. Out of 66 nos., 57 nos. of trainings were conducted for Farmers and Farm Women, 5nos. were conducted for Rural Youth, 4nos. were conducted for Extension Personnel. 19 nos. of training programmes were under World Bank sponsored project APART. Among the sponsored training programmes, 2 nos. were sponsored by MANAGE under STRY programme, 2nos. were self-financed programes and 1no. under ASCI and 1no. under AYUSH programme. One vocational training programme of 7 days duration was conducted under Community Science discipline for Entrepreneurship development through Processing and preservation of locally available fruits and vegetables and benefitted 18 nos. of rural youths accordingly.
A total number of 1567 nos. of Farmers and Farm Women, 155 nos. of Rural Youths and 164 nos. of Extension personnel were trained during the aforesaid period in agriculture and allied sectors with emphasis on knowledge and skill development. |
